The cost of assessment is based on several variables, including the cost of selected tests/materials, time spent interviewing the client and/or any informants (parents, teachers, spouses, etc.), school observations, test administration, scoring, interpretation, report-writing and feedback.
We work intentionally to identify the most cost-effective option for your referral question(s) by compiling the most streamlined and evidence-based battery possible-- all without sacrificing quality.
Additional sessions to process the results, review recommendations in greater detail, or receive support for specific treatment goals can also be scheduled with your examiner. We strive to ensure the assessment process is clear, understandable and empowering— rather than overwhelming and disorienting.
We are happy to discuss the assessment process, including the rationale for a certain pricing estimate for your specific needs, prior to committing to the evaluation.

PLEASE NOTE: Many insurance companies require a pre-authorization before they will approve any claims submitted for partial reimbursement for out-of-network psychological assessment services. You will receive a completed Superbill at the conclusion of the assessment process, upon request.

Given the highly individual nature of assessment, we provide cost estimates based on the average amount of time needed for similar referral questions or necessary testing batteries. We provide you with this proposal prior to the intake appointment, and disclose any changes to the estimated cost as soon as possible.

PSYCHODIAGNOSTIC CLARIFICATION ASSESSMENT -
Starting at $1,450
We offer thorough assessments of one’s social/emotional functioning and personality to assist in clarifying many diagnoses listed in the DSM-5-TR.
These assessment batteries will typically include a detailed clinical interview (typically 90-120 minutes) with yourself and/or an informant. We will send relevant personality and psychopathology measures to you/your informants following this appointment for you to complete online at your convenience.
A feedback session (typically 30-60 minutes) is then scheduled to discuss the results. A brief (2-5 page) report is provided following the feedback, which will summarize diagnostic conclusions and treatment recommendations.
The starting price for this scope of testing captures approximately 5 hours of assessment, from start to finish (intake interview, materials, scoring/report-writing and feedback). This level of testing does not include IQ or academic testing.
**NOTE: This level of testing may be appropriate for ADHD re-testing for all ages, as well as select first-time adult diagnoses of either ADHD or Autism, dependent on the desired scope and function of the evaluation (e.g., self-knowledge). Your examiner will discuss whether a more in-depth evaluation will be necessary before proceeding.
---------------
COMPREHENSIVE NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
$2,950 to $4,500
This level of assessment is based on 10-15 hours of assessment services, and is typically appropriate if your presenting concern includes ONE of the following:
1) New or suspected diagnoses of neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, Autism or intellectual delays
2) Identification of learning disorders or twice-exceptional/giftedness in individuals already diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, or another neurodevelopmental condition.
In addition to a thorough clinical interview to gather necessary background information, we will generally select a more comprehensive testing battery designed to evaluate your cognitive and intellectual functioning (e.g., IQ testing), executive functioning, social and emotional functioning, and any additional areas of concern within the scope of your referral question.
It often includes a more in-depth report (typically 10-15 pages) expanding on your results and outlining individualized treatment recommendations.
These evaluations are typically used to support formal accommodations requests within the school, workplace, or government agencies.
-----
COMPLEX NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
Starting at $5,500
In some cases, the presenting concern is more complex, which requires a more in-depth exploration of various diagnoses that look very similar, or often co-occur (e.g., Autism and ADHD, or Autism and 2E/giftedness), to get to the bottom of your presenting concerns.
The base cost is based on approximately 20 hours of assessment and associated time/materials, from start to finish.
**This level of testing is generally appropriate for assessment of specific learning disorders when an existing diagnosis of ADHD and/or Autism has not been established. This is because many learning differences often co-occur with neurodivergence, and understanding whether this may be contributing to learning concerns will be important for supporting you or your loved one.
We will be happy to discuss which level of testing is appropriate for your specific concerns before agreeing to move ahead with the evaluation process, and in many instances, may suggest starting at a lower-cost Tier unless a brief screener indicates a need to consider more in-depth exploration.
